KB Studio has been designed to bring together Kaye Buchman's lifelong artmaking practice with her extensive arts education background. She is a graduate of Illinois State University's BFA program and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's MFA program, and deeply committed to her dual role as artist & educator.

Kaye has taught in Chicago for over 30 years at many prominent art centers and colleges including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, City Colleges of Chicago, Hyde Park Art Center, and Lillstreet Art Center. She has also worked for over 20 years as an arts administrator, developing and implementing fine art and design programs for students of all ages.

Kaye's multi-media studio practice includes large-scale pen & ink drawing, mixed-media painting, thematic bookmaking, animation, and printmaking. She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows locally and nationally, won numerous awards, and attended residencies at Oxbow School of Art and Ragdale. Her work can be viewed on her website and on location at KB Studio.
