How do I register for classes?

Due to the limited number of spaces available in all courses and workshops, early registration is recommended. Registration is available on-line, by phone, or in-person.

How do I pay for classes?

Payment must be made at least one calendar day before the start date of all courses and workshops. Payments made after the starting date may be subject to a 10% late fee. Course and workshop registrations are payable by credit card online or in-person, by personal check via US mail or in-person, or by cash in-person.

What about supplies?

Class supply lists are available online or by email request.

How do I cancel my registration?

KB Studio must be notified by email prior to the first class to receive a full refund. If after attending the first class you wish to withdraw, an 80% refund will be processed if email notification is received 24 hours after attending the first class. No refunds are available after attending the second class.

How are refunds processed?

Refunds are processed by credit card or check, depending on original method of payment.

What if a class is canceled? 

When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, students can transfer their registration to another class or request a full refund.  

What if I have to miss a class? 

One makeup class is permitted per session, and must be completed during the same session. Makeup classes can take place in any class that is running concurrently as long as there is space available. Makeup class arrangements must be made in advance by email/text.

Can I bring food and beverages into the studio? 

Food and drinks are permitted, but garbage must be disposed of in the proper waste containers. 

Can I bring a guest with me to class? 

Students wishing to bring a guest to class must submit a request prior to the class meeting by email/text. Guests are required to join in the activities of the class and supplies will be provided by KB Studio. There is a $65 fee per guest.

Is there space available to store my artwork and supplies? 

There is shelf space available for the session in which the student is enrolled. Any materials left behind after the completion of the session will be disposed of, unless students are enrolled in the upcoming session. KB Studio does not store student artwork and/or materials for anyone who has not enrolled in courses or workshops for over two registration sessions. 

What is KB Studio's photography and intellectual property policy?

Students are permitted and encouraged to take photographs in the studio, so long as they request permission of those being photographed. Permission must also be sought if photographs are taken of artwork. KB Studio reserves the right to document studio activities, artwork, and exhibitions and use that media for marketing and archival purposes.
